2024 Camp Director

Julia Arvay is a native Staten Island artist who received her Masters of Fine Arts in painting and drawing from SUNY New Paltz in May 2019. She works as the studio manager and art teacher at the DEA School of Music and Art Willowbrook location. She is also working as the Summer Camp director and art instructor of the Super Kids Camp for 2020. Julia has a strong interest in art education and has years of experience teaching painting, drawing, and sculpture to all grades from kindergarten to college undergraduates. She specializes in abstract painting and has exhibited her work in galleries all over New York State.
