Does Your camp follow all Covid guidelines?
Yes Superkids Summer Camp follow all CDC current guidelines in accordance to NYS and NYC laws.
When does your camp run?
SI Super Kids Camp runs from June 29th, 2020, to September 4th, 2020. Ten weeks of fun! The camp day lasts from 9 am – 3 pm, Monday through Friday. We also offer extended hours from 7:30 AM to – 6:00 PM every day. Please see the camp calendar (found on the Schedule page) for our special events.
Can I come to visit the facility?
Yes, we will have several open houses in the coming months. Check back for open house dates!
What does my child need to wear to camp?
Every day your child should wear sneakers and clothing that can get messy. We have fitness classes and art classes every day; we also use paint and other fun and messy materials too.
What will my child be doing each day?
Each day your child will receive music and art lessons at DEA, tutoring services at Eye Level, and a fitness class at DJ Got Me Fit. The day is broken into 3 1hr and 45 min sessions, lunch, and two snacks.
Do I need to bring lunch?
Yes, please send a nut-free lunch to camp each day. We will provide two snacks each day (Kirkland organic Animal Crackers, or Utz Pretzels).
Who will be with my child every day?
DEA Music and Art teachers all have degrees in their field. We also have certified teachers on staff. DJ Got Me Fit’s instructors are all certified, personal trainers, and fitness experts. Eye-Level Instructors are all certified New York State teachers or on track to be certified. They are all experienced in one-on-one, small-group, and classroom teaching, and well-versed in Common Core standards. All camp manager/directors are CPR Certified.
Will there be any field trips?
Yes, all field trips are walking distance from our facility. There are no buses involved in our trips. Campers must wear their camp t-shirts on days of our trips.
Are there activities that cost money?
Yes, throughout the summer we will be doing some “field trips” such as going to the library, the park, pizza parties, etc. (please check our calendar). You will be notified in advance and have the option of opting out of the trips.
When are camp payments due?
A deposit of 1 week is required to process all camp registrations. This deposit (and any additional payment toward tuition) is refundable prior to April 1st, 2022, minus a $50 processing fee. After April 1st, the 1-week camp deposit is not refundable, but any additional payments made toward tuition remain refundable prior to June 1st, 2022. After June 1st, 2022, no refunds will be given for withdrawal from camp.
How can I pay for camp?
We take all forms of payment (cash, check, credit cards). All credit card transactions carry a 3.5% transaction fee.
